About Magda Multan Home

The studio’s origins lie in the publishing world, where we worked closely for many years with talented graphic designers and master printers. This early experience laid the foundations for our enduring fascination with colour, typography and composition. Over time, our interests deepened into a study of colour in European architecture and art. We were particularly captivated by historic pigments used on sunlit Italian and French façades — their depth, softness and remarkable interaction with light. We observed how colour shapes atmosphere, influences mood and defines our emotional connection to a place. In 2004, we relocated to England to further develop our language skills and settled in the historic town of Shrewsbury. Our weekends were spent exploring National Trust houses, estates and gardens, with Attingham Park’s Regency interiors becoming a lasting source of inspiration. England’s architectural palette — red-brick façades framed by carefully tended gardens, elegant entrance portals painted in nuanced whites, richly coloured front doors and layered historic interiors — profoundly shaped our aesthetic sensibility. In 2008, we founded HOME ENGLAND, a family studio specialising in colour consultancy and interior design. That same year, we began our long-standing collaboration with Farrow & Ball. For nearly two decades, we have represented the brand in Poland, working closely with architects, interior designers and painters. Our role has focused on education and consultancy, highlighting the importance of sustainable, high-quality paints and demonstrating how carefully considered colour schemes and natural pigments elevate both interiors and wellbeing. Today, we offer a full interior design service alongside specialist colour consultancy. We oversee every stage of the process — from early concept development and detailed technical drawings to the commissioning of bespoke furniture, sourcing of antiques, textiles, lighting, and curated works of art. We also design and produce unique, hand-painted furniture pieces and work closely with skilled craftsmen and artists, with a particular appreciation for small, family-run ateliers. Our studio values noble, natural materials — fine wallpapers, textiles, trimmings, natural timber, stone, ceramics and well-crafted lighting. We collaborate with suppliers and makers across England, France, Belgium and Italy, working with brands including Pierre Frey, Houlès, Designs of the Time, Arte, Mya Design, Bleu Provence, Designers Guild, Ralph Lauren, Romo, Corston and Heathfield & Co., for whom we act as Polish market agents. In 2024,  MAGDA MULTAN HOME – Timeless Atelier opened in the medival town of Shrewsbury, establishing a permanent UK presence. From our English studio, we deliver projects across Europe, maintaining a discreet, highly tailored service for a private international clients. We continue to carefully curate colours, materials and furnishings of the highest quality. We regularly visit interior design fairs, collaborate with British manufacturers and work with local antique dealers. More recently, our growing passion in fine art has led to a partnership with professional art advisor Jonathan Soden, owner of the SODEN Gallery in Shrewsbury. Magda is the studio’s Creative Director and Managing Director, responsible for the creative vision, brand development, client relationships and oversight of all design processes. Piotr leads on technical drawings, coordination with manufacturers, logistics and the day-to-day management of the studio.
